My Final Opinion of the Breville Juice Fountain Elite

I have had my Breville juicer for 3 years and it works great.  I personally think it’s loud but it is only used for minutes a day.  The collection piece could be designed to be on an angle so it would fully drain but again not a major issue, just empty it when you are ready to wash the pieces.  Depending on the fruits and vegetables, you may be able to put the pulp in to get a bit more juice out.  If you are like me, you hate the sting you get from orange juice bought at the store.  Well this changes everything, juice your own oranges and you will be in love, it’s silky smooth with no sting. The price is worth it.  This is an investment in your health.  I’ve included pictures that I took tonite.

  • Thanks for the review of this product an the idea of fresh juice sounds great but I’m left wondering how long it takes for the juicing process and how long does it take to clean the unit afterwards?

    • It will depend on how much you are juicing. The night I took those pictures, I juiced two large navel oranges within a minute and clean up took ten minutes maybe. The key would be to clean it right after using, allowing anything to sit with food particles will take longer to soak and scrub. Each peice of fruit or vegetable will be fully juiced in seconds. This is a very quick process. I will make a video of the juicing process soon. I hope I answered your questions.

  • I went though a small juicing phase, and really enjoyed the nutrition, but hated all the wasted pulp and cleaning the machine. I really value reviews and will take this into consideration if I choose to shop for a new juicer. Thanks!

  • I used to own one of these. I loved juicing. However, I adopted the ketogenic diet. The Breville juice fountain is best for fruits. It doesn’t do well with leafy green vegetables. When you juice fruits, you get a huge shot of fructose at one time. For this reason, I gave up juicing. If you aren’t concerned about a carbohydrate overload, this is a great juicer. I loved how quickly it juiced apples, celery and carrots.

  • Hi Candace,

Thank you for this thorough review!

I went through a big juicing phase when I was pregnant and am thinking about starting up again.

I am just wondering, is there an option for the machine to utilize all of the pulp, like other juicers on the market?
